Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Process: You can cancel your ProfileScout subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your account
- Going to Profile → Subscription tab
- Clicking "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirming cancellation
When Does Cancellation Take Effect? Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the next period.
Access After Cancellation: You retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that:
- Your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan
- Search limit: 10 searches/month (resets monthly)
- Email enrichment: 5 enrichments/month
- Search history limited to 7 days
- Saved lists remain accessible but cannot create new ones on Free plan
- No access to premium features (CRM integrations, automation, etc.)
Unused Credits: Monthly search and email enrichment credits do not carry over after cancellation. Use your credits before your billing period ends.
Reactivation: You can reactivate your subscription anytime by upgrading from the Free plan. Your previous lists and data remain intact.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a full refund if you're not satisfied with ProfileScout within the first 7 days of your initial subscription.
Eligibility:
- Only applies to your first subscription payment (new customers)
- Request must be submitted within 7 days of initial charge
- Contact support with your refund request
- Refund processed within 5-10 business days
After 7 Days - No Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable after the 7-day guarantee period. However:
- You can cancel anytime to stop future charges
- You retain access until the end of your billing period
- No prorated refunds for partial months
Annual Plans: Annual subscriptions are eligible for the 7-day refund. After 7 days, no refunds are provided, but you can cancel to prevent auto-renewal.
À la Carte Credits: Extra credits purchased (additional searches, email enrichments) are non-refundable but remain in your account for use.
Service Issues: If you experience technical problems that prevent you from using ProfileScout:
- Contact support immediately
- We will troubleshoot and resolve the issue
- If unresolved, we may issue credits or prorated refunds at our discretion
- Documented downtime exceeding 24 hours may qualify for partial refunds
Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback instead of contacting us, your account will be immediately suspended and may be permanently banned. Please contact support first to resolve any billing concerns.
To request a refund within the 7-day guarantee period or report a service issue:
- Email us at support@profilescout.app
- Include your account email and reason for refund request
- We will respond within 24-48 hours
- If approved, refund processed within 5-10 business days
